Zkillato Cannabis Strain Background

Zkillato is an extremely new strain that hasn't yet made it into the SeedFinder archives. With that said, little is known about its exact lineage or its original breeder. All we know for sure is that it came from the west somewhere and has recently made its way to Washington DC. Going by its namesake and its flavor and effect profile, there's a chance that Zkillato is a cross between Zkittlez and Gelato. But again, that's all speculation.

Regardless of where it came from, lab results have found that it checks in between 20-25% THC on average and is rich in Limonene, b-Caryophyllene, and Linalool terpenes that promote sweet, earthy flavors and hard-hitting, indica-leaning effects.

Zkillato Scents, Flavors, and Effects

With limited information on the Zkillato strain online, we took it upon ourselves to track some down and give it a try. Needless to say, we were very impressed with its aroma. The flowers smell loud from inside a sealed bag, and it only gets more intense as you open it up and take a whiff. Zkillato smells softer on the nose than others, almost fresh and herbal. However, the profile really shines when you grind the flowers up. Agitating the buds releases all of those delicious terps, and you can detect a candy-like sweetness alongside a pungent earthy sourness in addition to those fresher scents.

The flavor is excellent, too. The first impression of Zkillato is both sweet and sour, like the weed equivalent of tropical fruit. The smoke is actually pretty smooth compared to most strains. It's light and floral with a sort of spiciness at the end. That said, we did cough— just not as much as others have made us cough. All around, it's a very pleasant strain with a sharp, citrusy aftertaste and a dank earthiness that makes you reminiscent of classic cuts like OG Kush.

As for effects, Zkillato won't let you down. It starts with a super comfortable and uplifting headrush that washes away stress and leaves you feeling uplifted and upbeat. After about 5 minutes, you'll start to notice its creeping body high start to take hold. It starts right behind the eyes and melts down through your limbs, leaving you feeling totally relaxed and a little bit tingly. While the body buzz is more of an indica-leaning trait, its mellow effects are more balanced, making Zkillato a good choice at any time of day.

Potential Medicinal Uses of the Zkillato Strain

With potency on the higher end (between 20-25% THC) and plenty of potentially therapeutic terpenes, Zkillato offers many potential medicinal benefits. With its stress-relieving and body-soothing effects, Zkillato is a good choice at any time of day if you need to manage depression, difficulty concentrating, minor aches and pains, nausea, or a lack of appetite. Just keep in mind that in high doses, Zkillato may knock you out. That said, that could still be useful if you're wrestling with anxiety or pain that causes the insomnia keeping you from getting a good night's sleep.

Where to find Zkillato in Washington DC

All in all, the Zkillato strain is a fantastic choice for its unique fruity, earthy flavors and its potent mellow effects. Ready to try some Zkillato for yourself?
