What do all these weights mean?

If you're new to legal cannabis, you might be wondering what the sizes in our flower gifts mean. Our cannabis gifts come in eighths, quarters, half ounces, and ounces. Each weight is measured in grams to reflect the dry weight of the flower.

Eighth (of an ounce): 3.5 grams
1/4 ounce: 7 grams 
1/2 ounce: 14 grams 
Ounce: 28 grams

Whichever works best for you! We offer pickups at a specific location for the day within DC, which we'll text to you once we confirm your order. Pickups are always free.

Deliveries are easy too. If you'd rather us bring your gifts to you, specify your shipping information when you place your order. We have a $20 flat-rate delivery fee.

How is the whole gifting thing legal?

It might seem a little bit weird, but it's legal!

Washington D.C's Initiative 71 allowed adults over 21 years of age or old to possess cannabis and cultivate up to three marijuana plants. However, it didn't allow for the direct sale of marijuana in the city. Instead, it fostered a gift economy. Recreational marijuana can be gifted for free, though it cannot be sold directly.

Later, Initiative 81 passed, which decriminalized plants and fungi that contain ibogaine, dimethyltryptamine, mescaline, psilocybin, or psilocyn. Examples include psilocybin mushrooms, also known as magic mushrooms or shrooms, peyote, and iboga. Like Initiative 71, they themselves aren't legal to sell, but they can be gifted for free.

In response, businesses in Washington DC are able to sell items unrelated to cannabis or magic mushrooms, such as stickers, digital art, music tapes, t-shirts, and otherwise for marked-up prices. Along with the unrelated item purchased comes a free cannabis gift. This is legal thanks to the unregulated marketplace and Initiative 71 and 81 legal loopholes.

This culture is advertised openly in the city and includes daily transactions, local deliveries, and special events.

You sure can! As long as you're in Washington DC, we can deliver to your hotel, apartment, Airbnb, vacation rental, coffee shop, or wherever you'd like to meet. Just keep in mind that the address must be listed in DC. We also can't meet you on any government property, or near public parks or schools in compliance with DC Initiative 71.
